1. "Creative Christmas Table Centerpiece Ideas to Recreate This Holiday Season
The time for gathering has come, and we are making our home extra cozy for everyone to enjoy. Over the last few years, I have been posting on Instagram about table centerpieces that you can easily recreate and place on any flat surface. These creations are simple to make, using items that I already have or affordable ones, like those I find at the Dollar spot in Target.
Due to the popularity of these story shares on IG, I have chosen to compile them here on the blog for your convenience in referencing them for inspiration. While some may be part of a tablescape, they can also serve as standalone centerpieces without the accompanying dishware.
Just like in previous years, I will continue to update this blog post regularly, so make sure to check back often for new inspiration. Don't forget that all the photos are connected to my LTK, where you can conveniently shop for each item shown in the picture, whether it's the exact one or something similar. Now, let's dive into the photos!
Having guests over? Add a plate of your preferred cookies and mugs to any holiday centerpiece. It will create a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
This year, another trending item is the picks that I have owned for several years since my time with the online shop. While I have used them throughout our home before, I had never placed them on our mantel. However, given my focus this year on decorating our mantel with an abundance of greens, it seemed fitting to place them there. You can display them in any vase; I have chosen a ceramic one.
Here are two focal points on display. One is placed on the coffee table, featuring a signature style with a basket filled with ornaments. While I have previously used bowls or wicker baskets, this year I opted for a wired basket. I am fond of this appearance as it allows the ornaments to be visible from all sides. Additionally, the viral bells are now positioned on our mantel. Previously, I used to hang them above the black mirror, but since we have our family photos there, I wanted to integrate them differently. They now fit perfectly on the mantel ledge, filling the space elegantly.
It's enjoyable to style these big jingle bells! They actually jingle and their vintage appearance adds a nostalgic touch to any centerpiece. I placed three of them in our paper mâché bowl along with a Christmas garland.
You can achieve a lovely ambiance by placing pillar candles in a tall glass container. I was fortunate enough to come across these items for free on FaceBook Marketplace a few years ago. However, you can easily recreate this look by purchasing the same items at the Dollar store.
To create a festive atmosphere, decorate with a Christmas garland and arrange several milk glass vases with votive candles in the center. You can find these vases at your favorite antique shop or at estate sales for just a few dollars.
Throughout the holiday season, mercury glass trees are a key element in our home decor. Their beautiful glow can be enhanced by choosing ones that light up or by adding a strand of twinkling lights. Achieving balance by arranging them in various heights and odd numbers is key to their styling.
An uncomplicated display in an ironstone pitcher is consistently lovely and exudes a timeless appeal. Combining garden roses with Christmas greens creates a charming arrangement. Remember to trim the roses every other day to maintain their freshness and adjust the vase height according to the length of the roses. Even as they begin to wilt, I prolong their beauty, as evident in this image, finding them quite romantic.
Create visually appealing Christmas centerpieces that showcase your unique style and holiday cheer with affordable, uncomplicated decorations. Enjoy embellishing your home for the festive season without overspending or feeling stressed.
