Christmas At Country Chic Homes Vol. 2023

Well, here we find ourselves again, another year together & another year of planning Christmas at Country Chic Homes. I am so excited to finally share Christmas at Country Chic Homes Vol. 2023 with you.

Over the past few weeks, I have been sharing several items on my Instagram stories. It has been delightful to share with you as many have been excited to see what's to come. I have been sharing pieces that I will incorporate throughout the season, but I have yet to discuss much about my vision. If you know me well, you know that I have been creating since the spring. It's the way my creative mind works & in some way, it gives me peace to be able to plan far in advance. Buying starts as early as July & it can be simple items that I come across at estate sales or early shopping with shops during their Christmas in July event.

Okay, so let's get started! I genuinely hope you can see my vision as these are only the items you'll see in our home; I still have yet to decorate, eeekk! I am so excited to start, but I am still in full swing of styling for fall & Halloween. I will share when the first Christmas post will be in just a bit. Okay, ready!?

Each year I have focused on a theme but this year it's about the garlands; they'll be several garlands throughout CCH. In the past, I have styled our mantel several ways throughout the season. This year, there will only be one, I know! I had to really think about that one but to truly give it my all & to have it be the focal point, I decided that only one mantel garland would be the best way to go. Rest assured; it's going to be grand! It'll be full of Christmas greens, textured garlands & layers of ribbon. Our stockings will be hung right at the beginning, something new to us. Usually, I wait until December 1st to add them, but since I won't be switching up the garland, everything will go up together. How exciting! Soon, you will see!

The second garland will be in the kitchen; it will resemble the one in the living area. It'll be of a smaller scale with a different style to give it its own shine. Also, that will stay for the entire season.

The third & final will be in our bedroom. It's going to be very simple & so elegant. Think greens & ribbon.

Okay, colors, let's talk about the colors so you can see it & feel it. The colors will be Christmas green, browns, gold, rust orange & creams. Yes, that's it; it'll be an effortless transition from given the color palette fall.

What's making a comeback from last year? Our 9ft flocked tree, the bells, & all the joy!

You might be wondering what the tree will look like. Will I be styling the hutch? Stay tuned! Those deserve their blog posts, as do many things that I have planned.

I have added several of the items to the post; each has a link that will take you to the appropriate shop with all the details. Remember, holiday items sell out fast & are rarely restocked during the season, so if you see something, especially if it says, "selling fast" or "low quantity," don't wait, especially if it's an item you truly love, need, or want.

I almost forgot, hehe! Country Chic Homes will be ready for Christmas on November 1st, 2023. I can't wait!

XO
