Easter Tablescape

A little Easter tablescape inspiration, of course. I created a simple table with nests, birds, and eggs and, of course, layers of linens and layered settings.

I had everything on hand, and it was easy to pull together. Of course, I went with my favorite table runner that I have in the shop, the frayed grey and white stripes. The grey is very subtle, and the edges being frayed just makes it feel a tad rustic.

To add depth, I used a piece of ripped drop cloth from a previous project that I frequently use as a vase filler. What's a vase filler? Since I use faux at times, I don't want the stems to show through, so I add a piece of material. The main items that I used were nests and birds, which were again all items that I already had. The nests are made out of natural linen string. I love that you can work with them and the added texture it brings. Last year I added them to a branch. They have clips on them and can be clipped easily. I stacked a few plates, added some faux eggs and, of course, candles!

When layering and finding balance in each tablescape, it makes it easy to keep your guests looking at all the pieces that are in front of them, bringing your tablescape to life. Another tip is if you have a vision of how you want your tablescape to look and the vibe to create, don't lose focus. I promise it'll come together. Maybe take a step back and dance, just like I did after I created this tablescape. I shared a clip of it over on my Instagram.

Much love and respect.
