Halloween Tablescape
Hey Guy's!!! & Happy October 1st boo's!!! Cheers to September but I don't really remember ya, you came in so fast & left in a blink of an eye!! So let's look forward to the next 31 day's of Halloween & of course Fall creations.
I was so excited that October 1st was falling on a Thursday, cause that meant #thursdaytablescapeinspo over on IG. So make sure you head on over & see some amazing pic's & morning tour & see who all joined me. Don't forget if you create a tablescape on a Thursday, use our hashtag #thursdaytablescapeinspo to have a chance to be featured on our stories.
Okay let's get into the deets of this tablescape vibe & DIY. I knew I wanted my tablescape to be what Halloween was going to be here at Country Chic Homes. Candles, black fabric, lace , crows, peonies & velvet roses that would set the mood for a French Country Chic Homes Vibe. 1st I started with my DIY of garlands. I won't get into the basics here of how to do your own hand tied fabric garland, I'll link it back to the original post All Tied Up. Once I created the garland out of black fabric & black lace, I added the velvet roses & black peonies. I added them randomly in the strands of garlands, but mostly where two pieces of fabric where tied to add more layers. For the roses, I weaved them in the knot or through the lace & wrapped around the stem. As for the peonies, I cut the stem off as those were all hot glued to the strands. Once I had all the florals in placed, I just laid the garlands across the table at different lengths. I used a cloche that I had, & put it over a peonie, crow & a strand of lights. That creation is off to one end of the table as I didn't want to have a center point. That way your eye is moving & finding different pieces. I added my brass candle stick holders with black tapers throughout the garlands. To top off the garland, I brought in the crows!! I placed them sporadically, & boy oh boy did this bring the Halloween Vibes. I have 2 crows on a black tree that I picked up at Target dollar spot, I have it behind the cloche. As my tableware, I set it up as a community tablescape all the pieces together. I used my Dollar tree plates in black & black clear glass with some vintage silverware & vintage cloth napkins all placed on top of a silver tray. That's it Guy's!!! All done & I definitely think it gives off more of a romantic French Country Chic Homes Vibe. But wait!! It all comes to life when the tapers are lit, so you definitely want to head on over to IG Friday for a Halloween Dining Room Tour once the sun starts to go down.
Thank you again so much for letting me come & share my Halloween Tablescape!! I've linked everything that I could, so if you create your #thursdaytablescapeinspo I'll share your creation.
May this month bring you 31 days of treats & happiness
