Layers & Textures & Frames
Hey Guy's!!!
Happy week to ya & whewww that was a close one!! If ya saw my stories over on the gram I chatted about my vision that I had planned for our bedroom. I wanted to paint the doors black & add a huge mantle a heavy one. After thinking about it and realizing that it was just to risky to have this 7ft matle above us, maybe wasn't a good idea. Also, I would be losing height space for my vintage frames. So after thinking it through, I came up with leaving 2 of 3 doors as is & creating a wall of frames!! So let's chat deets boo's.
To make the wall pop, I painted the largest frame with Black Liquorice chalk paint. Since it's a chalk paint, the gold peaked through just enough. It definitely gave me the French Country Chic Vibe. I started layering them to create texture & depth. Once they were all hung I strung my Fairy Lights garland from Lamp Lust. Oh yassss!!! It was perfect.
So when something doesn't go as planned, there's probably always a reason & here possibly an injury or the wanting to keep bringing out these gorgeous frames.
I hope y'all have a good night & thank you so much for always being here!!!
XO
Ali
