Spring Pillow Covers
Update 03/02/2023:
Adding a few more pillows, haha who knew that I would?
Update 02/01/2023:
I am re-publishing this post I originally posted on March 2, 2022. I will bring back these pillow covers to CCH this Spring season & the two I shared on Instagram earlier this evening. They're gorgeous & such a deal! They both come with inserts; both have a down alternative fill. The oblong pillow is firmer than the other one.
* I have added other pillows / pillow covers that work well for the upcoming seasons.
Let's start the week with some beautiful spring textiles. Throw pillows & throws are a great way to refresh any space & can be reasonable to do.
I am buying pillow covers instead of a full pillow to conserve space. I have my favorite feather inserts that I love to use. Having pillow covers makes it easy to take care of & wash the covers & store them away when not in use.
This year for Spring, I bought two new sets & will use a few sets from last year too. The neutral ones are great to have & can be used every season & to balance out the floral patterns.
The size all depends on preference & what you need in your home. I like to have three different sizes from 2 size squares & 1 lumbar.
I've added photos to the pillow covers you'll see here at CCH throughout Spring & possibly thru Summer.
When choosing throw pillows or covers, here are some tips that may help you.
Bringing in different patterns & textures doing so creates depth.
Use three different sizes. I like to use small, medium, & large. Usually a Euro size, 26"x26" & an oblong length 18"-24."
Style in odd numbers
If using a bold pattern, I like to have a neutral color & to blend the two designs; I like to add a ticking pillow cover.
Remember, not all will be super soft but beautiful, haha & that's okay. That will be your accent color.
